How do I make herbal tea?

Making herbal tea is as simple adding hot water to your herbal tea blend. The rest is all about how to sift the plant leaves out of the final brew if you wish to do so. Some sippers don’t mind the plant leaves. If you would like keep your herbs separate, you can use a tea infuser, tea pot with tea straining insert, or a wire mesh colander. How much tea do I use?

For a single serving (8 ounces) you’ll want to use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon on average for most blend. To make a half gallon 1 heaping table spoon is recommended for most blends. The more herbal tea blend you use the more potent the blend will be. It is strongly recommended that you do not exceed more than 1 teaspoon per 8 ounce serving as a little goes a long way.

How much tea is in each bag?

Each herbal blend is sold with anywhere from 1 to 2 ounces depending on the blend. All blends are measured by weight, though the volume of the herb blends may make it appear as though there is “more” or “less” in the bag.

How much tea does each bag make?

You can make gallons of tea per bag depending on how you choose to brew your tea. A little goes a very long way and the longer you let you tea steep the most potent it becomes.
